摘要：We present a possible application of selected methods of remote sensing which are used for monitoring and assessment of landscape changes. Remote sensing enables us to asses the characteristics of land cover on both spatial and time scales. Two examples of using remote sensing are demonstrated to evaluate landscape changes in time influenced by human activity. The first example deals with the effect of a nuclear power plant on landscape and the second deals with a possible development and modelling of landscape, which has been disturbed by brown coal mining. New approach to the assessment of landscape changes is presented.
