摘要：Objective: to report the experience carried out in the “Educational Actions in the Prevention of Health Problems” university extension project. Method: this is an experience report of the activities carried out from May 2017 to April 2019, at a federal university in the south of the country, during nursing consultations, and health education workshops. The consultations followed a structured script for performing the anamnesis, physical examination, nursing diagnoses and formulation of the individualized care plan. Group activities and conversation circles were used for the workshops. Results: A total of 93 nursing consultations, 11 health education workshops, and two conversation circles with the community were held. Conclusions: the experiences with the extension activities provided the students with the approach of the nurse’s professional performance concerning health education and disease prevention, through academic integration into the community.
