摘要:Objective: to reflect on issues involving human finitude and the various losses over the course of existence, providing the strengthening of the group on the theme. Method: experience report, carried out through a workshop with the theme Care processes and mourning phases. It was held in May 2019, lasting 2 hours. This work emphasized the five stages of mourning named by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. Result: 15 family caregivers of Alzheimer's patients, 03 students, 01 teacher and 01 technician participated. The workshop was held through the debate on issues involving death and dying faced throughout life, making participants more aware of the process. Conclusion: although every subject is aware of his finitude, the fear of death is something that is very present in human discourses, especially for those who dedicate years to the responsibilities that involve treatment and zeal with the other.
