摘要：The study refers to Brazilian macro-regions unemployment between 2014-2017. Following the decomposition methodology adopted by Corseuil et al. (1997), the participation of different population and socioeconomic groups in the unemployed people stock is analyzed. The main results evidence that, in face of the unemployment growth in Brazil from 6,8% to 12,7% in that period, the participation of the group of men, non-young people and non-white people increased in the unemployed people contingent.
