En l’absence d’un recensementexhaustif del’habitat participatif, nous discuterons des principes delaconstitution d’une base de données originale, puisanalyserons la diffusion spatiale du phénomène. Cet habitat marginalstatistiquements’est développé préférentiellement dans troiszones :côte ouest, nord-est, Colorado et Nouveau-Mexique. Cette géographiesemblecorréléeaux territoires dans lesquels le voteaété majoritairement favorableàlacandidate démocratelors dela présidentielle de 2016. Thisarticlestudies the geographicspread ofcohousing in the United States. As no exhaustivecensus ofintentionalcommunities has yet to be completed, we will discuss the principles underlying theconstitution ofan original databaseand then analyzethespatial diffusion ofthe phenomenon. This statisticallymarginal habitat has mostly developed in threeareas:The West Coast, the Northeast, Colorado and NewMexico. This geography seems to correlate with territories that generally voted for the Democraticcandidatein the 2016 presidentialelection. Geográficamenteexiste unacorrelación con losespacioscon voto mayoritario paralacandidata demócrata en laselecciones presidenciales de 2016.
