摘要:Formal education in Colombia addresses different branches of thinking, aiming to involve children in different fields of knowledge, but it is little concerned with the development of interpersonal and emotional relationships. The objective of this article is to give an overview of the experience developed in a pedagogical intervention based on emotional intelligence to transform the negative perceptions expressed around female and male gender attitudes among a group of second grade students in a public institution. For the development of this research, we took as a reference a qualitative position of (Ramirez & Rodriguez, 2019) which establishes that its emphasis is on the interpretation and description of the findings found by the researcher. In the collection of data, elements such as: the participant observation, the field diary and the unstructured interview were used. As a conclusion, relevant aspects regarding the processes of recognition, emotion management and intra- and interpersonal relationships between boys and girls of the second grade were evidenced.
