摘要:The objective of this research was to analyze how the study of times and movements can assist in improving the loading and unloading operations of a food distributor located in the State of Ceará/CE. The research is classified as qualitative, quantitative, exploratory and descriptive. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews and on-site observation with the operator who performs the operations in question. The research results indicate that through the chronoanalysis tool the standard loading and unloading times are 445,918 and 632,129 seconds, respectively. Therefore, it was concluded that this would be the time required for a qualified operator, under normal conditions, to execute a service unit. For the difficulties encountered with an ergonomic aspect, some suggestions were proposed to maintain productivity without compromising the health of workers.
