摘要：El trabajo que se presenta tiene como propósito realizar un estudio sistematizado acerca de la orientación profesional en el Colegio Preparatoria de la Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas donde se ha podido constatar que existe en algunos estudiantes, docentes y familias, desconocimiento acerca de la orientación profesional y de hecho con la elección de la carrera en aras del futuro desempeño y concreción del proyecto de vida. En el trabajo se abordan elementos conceptuales importantes a partir del análisis de documentos, la contrastación teórica y por fuentes, además de los datos aportados por métodos del nivel empírico como, las entrevistas, encuestas, el producto de la actividad y otros de gran valía investigativa, el artículo se centra en un aspecto específico que es la orientación profesional, destacando que este proceso debe ayudar a concretar el proyecto de vida elegido por los estudiantes por lo que las acciones que se explicitan constituyen herramientas metodológicas y teóricas para el desarrollo exitoso en tal empeño, es por ello que resulta vital hoy para la universidad cubana articular desde las enseñanzas precedentes la labor hacia la orientación profesional.
其他摘要：The work that is presented carries out a study systematized about the professional orientation in the Preparatory School of the Central University Marta Abreu of The Villages where he/she has been able to verify that it exists in some students, educational and families, ignorance about the professional orientation and in fact with the election of the career for the sake of the future acting and concretion of the project of life. In the work important conceptual elements are approached starting from the analysis of documents, the theoretical contrastación and for sources, besides the data contributed by methods of the empiric level as, the interviews, surveys, the product of the activity and others of great were worth investigative, the article is centered in a specific aspect that is the professional orientation, highlighting that this process should help to sum up the elected project of life for the students for that that the actions that you explicitan constitutes methodological and theoretical tools for the successful development in such a zeal, it is for it that is vital today for the Cuban university to articulate from the precedent teachings the work toward the professional orientation.
