摘要：This article aims to evaluate the intra-state redistributive effect of Fundeb in Bahian municipalities in the context of fund policy as an alternative to equalize basic education financing. The study is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, based on information available at Siope, referring to the year 2019, in ten municipalities: five with the highest revenues and five with the lowest revenues received by the Fund. The results show the contribution of the Fund to greater equalization of education financing, the importance of complementing the Union and the need for new mechanisms for the distribution of resources to reduce inequalities, even within the same state.
