摘要:This article discusses the repercussions of FUNDEB on the valorization of teachers in Minas Gerais between 2007 and 2019. To this end, it investigates the public policies of remuneration of teachers implemented in the state in recent decades and makes statistical analysis (descriptive) of the educational and budgetary data of the period. The importance of FUNDEB in the financing of basic education in Minas Gerais was highlighted. It was found that the fund allowed an increase in spending on teachers' payments in the state. However, it was evidenced that the expansion was obtained through the maintenance of most teachers in precarious contracts, without the increase in the average remuneration to an expressive number of teachers in the network.
