摘要：The success of any organization depends on the allocation and use of tools, equipment, money, material and human resources of the organization. Among the production factors, human resources that is principal, no doubt has a key role in providing services and is considered as the most important asset of an organization. This study invastigate the effect of short-term and long-term of human resources on the economic growth of Iran’s sports industry, using auoturegresive distributed lag model in the period of (1353-1391). For this purpose, econometric method implemented by using data on sports value added, government size, capital stock of the sports sector and Active population of Sport. The results showed the human resources of sports sector has in the short-term and long-term a positive and significant effect on economic growth of the sports industry of Iran. The role of human resources in the growth of the sports industry is greater than the capital. To economic growth of the sports industry, it is better to investment in human resources.
