摘要：For causes few people participate in sport in our country, the purpose of this research is to investigate reasons for non-participation of male teachers in sport. This Research is descriptive research and its type is analytical that operated as a field study. Population composed of all Iranian teachers that 385 people were selected for the sample. For analyzing the reasons of non-participation. Findings show that in first variable was individual characteristics:4 factor components (don’t have sport skill, Fatigue and impatience, Fear of injury) in variable of inhibitory obstacles 4 factor components (Unavailability sport Places, Low quality in sport Places, Busy work and family, Low income) in environmental push factor: 4 factor components (Proper planning for sport teacher, don’t have useful knowledge about sport activities, Feel ashamed after losing, The low number of sport facilities) and in sport Property variable 2 factor components (Aversion of Winning and losing, Duration and intensity sport activities are effective. officials and policy makers should consider these factors and through the appropriate management help education ministry to fulfill its goals.
