摘要:The purpose of present study was the examination of the shock effect of managerial change on team performance in Iran pro league and five selected European leagues. The research method of study was causal-comparative. The population of study were all 340 teams present in Iran pro league and Selected Leagues in seasons (2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11) and the sample of study were 133 teams that had changed their coach during competition season. For analysis of data, statistical method of independent sample t-test was used. The results of independent sample t-test showed that managerial change on teams performance in Iran pro league and selected leagues had the shock effect. Overall, it can be concluded that managerial change improves the team performance in the short term during the season. To the clubs managers suggests that with have a strategic plan do necessary change to improve the resulting of the team, so that the team not only obtain short term expected results but also be successful in long term.
