摘要：The Intellectual Militancy of María Teresa León: Crónica general de la guerra civil (1937) studies the fervent cultural activity of the writer during the years of the Spanish Civil War. After a first review of the most significant stages in Leon’s life, in which the author acquires a deep political awareness, we examine the initiatives promoted during the war, within the “Alianza de Inte- lectuales Antifascistas”, with special attention to the miscellaneous volume Crónica general de la guerra civil, edited by León and published in 1937 on the occasion of the II International Congress of Antifascist Writers.
