摘要:Objective: Present the potential for generating and sharing information and knowledge on the YouTube® digital platform. Methods: Through a webmetric analysis, the ten Brazilian culinary channels with the largest number of followers were studied, aiming to quantify their videos produced, number of followers, likes of the main videos, number of views of the channel and favorite video, in addition to the number of comments. Results: It was observed the application of theories of knowledge management in these channels and that the platform has great potential with regard to the generation and dissemination of information. The ten culinary channels analyzed, available through Web 2.0, have the ability to present the Youtubers tacit and explicit knowledge to their followers in order to share information and knowledge Conclusions: It was possible to understand that the YouTube® digital platform can be a great means by which the sharing of information and knowledge occurs with regard to Knowledge Management. The practical visualization of the results found here allows the possibility of inference regarding the dynamics of the production and sharing of information today through such a digital platform. In view of the informational era put in place today, it is essential to understand how Knowledge Management can figure in this scenario, within the gastronomic context.
