摘要：In this study, the importance of games and play in Child Education stands out, bringing as an objective, to know the meaning of playing, as well as to understand the ludic universe, where the child communicates with himself and with the world, accepts the existence of on the other hand, it establishes social relationships, builds knowledge, fully developing itself, and also, the benefits that playing provides in the teaching-learning process for children. The present work brings a brief study on the history and evolution of early childhood education in different periods, as well as the importance for the formation of the individual. of the individual. As for the methodology, it is assumed that there is a bibliographic research, that is, the theme was developed from the theoretical foundation of some renowned authors who address the theme. In this way, this study will provide a more conscious look at the importance of playing in the life of the human being, and especially in the lives of children.
