  • 摘要:Experts in Teamwork (EiT) is a compulsory course at 7.5 ECTS for all students at the second-degree level at the NTNU. Annually, approximately 2,000 students take the subject. The students are placed in interdisciplinary teams, and their task is to complete a major project together. For more information, see: http://www.ntnu.edu/eit The main learning objective is to develop teamwork skills, but also to train the students to utilize their academic competence in interdisciplinary settings, nationally and internationally, to reach an enhanced project output. EiT is experience-based; reflections and feedback on situations that arise in the teamwork are pivotal activities in this kind of learning arenas. EiT aims to increase the students’ awareness of how they contribute as collaborative members in a team. The development of such social skills is of importance for their future workplace and careers. By keeping a continuous focus on the students’ interpersonal collaborative skills, we believe, the training may also facilitate an innovative processes. Experienced-based learning requires a high number of teachers and mandatory training to complete their tasks within the framework of EiT. Since the beginning in 2001, the EiT program has been under continuous development. Today, about 70% of the students report that they are satisfied with EiT.
