摘要：The translation of Chinese reduplicative words plays a key part in the reproduction of the style of the children’s literature and is a decisive factor affecting the quality of the translation. Taking Bronze and Sunflower as an example, the authors find that Helen Wang endeavors to preserve the rhythm and musicality of the novel by employing various translation strategies. However, due to the great disparities between Chinese and English, more than half of the reduplicative words ablate in the process of C-E translation. To remedy it, Helen Wang employs “parallel Structure” “alliteration” “-ing structure” etc. when translating the non-duplicative words. The present study is of some instruction for Chinese Children’s literature “going out”.
