摘要：La teoria della letteratura viene sovente criticata da chi non la comprende e non la conosce. La teoria è una costruzione ibrida, che attinge a diverse discipline (la linguistica, la filosofia, le teorie del desiderio, ecc.). Il suo obiettivo non consiste nell’enunciare leggi o principi generali (come molti credono) bensì nella costruzione di strumenti di analisi, che permetteranno una percezione più ricca dei testi, sia dal punto di vista semantico sia da quello estetico. Perciò la teoria letteraria va intesa come una teoria delle singolarità . Essa si oppone a quelle forme di anti-teoria rappresentate dai cultural studies, e ad ogni forma di contestualismo, che mortificano la ricchezza e la bellezza della letteratura.
其他摘要：Literary theory is often criticized by those who do not understand what it is. The theory is a hybrid construction, which draws on different disciplines (linguistics, philosophy, theories of desire, etc.). Its goal consists not so much in enunciating general principles (as many believe), but in the construction of analysis tools, which will allow a deeper understanding of the texts, both from a semantic and an aesthetic point of view. Therefore literary theory should be understood as a theory of singularities . It opposes to those forms of anti-theory represented by cultural studies, and to any form of contextualism, which mortify the richness and beauty of literature.
