摘要：The ongoing climate crisis calls for decisive action on many fronts. One instrument adopted by various countries and endorsed by organizations such as the International Monetary Fund is carbon taxation. Based on a literature review, this paper explores the structure, effectiveness and social distribution of carbon taxation in France and Switzerland. A comparative conclusion is drawn.
