摘要:This paper investigated the relationships between social skills development through a social skills training program and the evaluations of affective (enjoyment of training) and cognitive (need for training) aspects of the program. University students participated in a skills training program for increasing teamwork competency (Tabata, 2016). General social skills and sub-elements of teamwork competency were assessed pre- and post-training. Additionally, the training program was evaluated after the training. The results indicated that the “need for training” was positively related to the developments of the general social skills and the subscales of teamwork competency, such as communication, back-up, monitoring, and leadership, which was not the case for the “enjoyment of training.”.
