  • 摘要:Introduction We propose to generate a didactic tool based on 2D graphic animations about contents of gross Anatomy. Under the conception of the image as an artifact of knowledge, its use not only obeys the display of support for the text but responds to a process of learning and assimilation of content to process and fix knowledge. Methods A student population of 215 individuals from university degrees in Medicine and Fine Arts, Georgetown Universities (USA) and Seville (Spain), was surveyed; having worked on 9 closed answer questions that guide the trend of knowledge, acceptance and rejection of 2D graphic animation as a didactic resource in Anatomy and Human Morphology. At the same time, we have developed 2D animations on anatomical dissections to serve the implementation of this learning tool. Results The percentages obtained indicate a stagnation in the illustrated manuals as a single or main resource and show the receptive disposition of the students with respect to 2D animation. They also noted the minority knowledge of these visual resources, which are more dynamic and facilitate the teaching-learning process. Conclusion Both the teaching material produced and the information gathered in this sample, have been indicative of the efficient pedagogical value that 2D graphic animation accredits in Anatomy subjects, involving an original resource which differs from those commonly used in this area.
