摘要：The process of political change produced in Venezuela generated uncertainty in some closely related countries. The transition to democracy that took place in the late 1950s and the subsequent process of building its institutions was the object of interest in many countries, including Spain. This article will seek to analyze how this process is perceived by the Spanish diplomatic legation. Through the archival documentation generated, we will observe the visions and opinions expressed about the different actors who played an important role in Venezuelan politics of the mid-century.
