摘要:Health expenditures, which are one of the economic indicators, and how the expenditures change over time depend on many factors such as the economic conditions, demographic structure, health-related policies, technology, structure of the health sector and consumer preferences of the countries. This study examines the convergence of per capita health expenditures in OECD countries using data for the 1975-2019 period. Unit root procedure proposed by Furuoka (2017) is used as econometric method. As a result of the econometric analysis, it is concluded that the convergence hypothesis is valid for 17 OECD countries.
