摘要：Over the years need has developed for effective interventions in residential settings for conduct disordered and delinquent youth. In particular the adolescent population has been difficult and suffering high amounts of recidivism. One promising treatment to develop has been Mode Deactivation therapy. Utilizing MDT in a therapeutic setting would fit the expectations and requirements of using evidenced based therapies. This serves multiple purposes. These include but are not limited to expectations of the provider’s ethics code, JCAHO and insurance requirements. MDT has been utilized in a variety of settings such as individual case studies, long-term inpatient residential care and in outpatient care.
