摘要：The revolutionary developments performed with the establishment of Turkish Republic changed the political, social, legal and economic structure of Turkish society. Among these developments, education had a significant part. In the Republican period, there were many efforts to make the public more conscious and organized through the Turkish Hearth movement, public schools and community centres. Foreign educational specialists and teachers also contributed to these efforts, which were oriented to modernising education.
