标题：History and faith tourism in terms of cultural landscape in Battalgazi (Old Malatya) town Battalgazi (Eski Malatya) ilçesinin kültürel peyzajinda tarih ve inanç turizmi
摘要：National faith tourism resources have distinct features in Malatya’s Battalgazi (Old Malatya) town which has a wide range of heritage tourism in terms of social life and culture. Since nearly all the districts in the town centre have holy places like shrines, entombed saints and sanctuaries belonging to different eras and they are close to each other, this creates an open air museum to create a cultural landscape. The mentioned cultural heritages which are partly damaged due to several reasons still exist as the witnesses of the history and are being visited. The main aims of this study are to analyze faith tourism resources which are favored by people in Malatya and neighbor cities with geographical principles, introduce them, show how they are benefited and mention some of the problems. This study, qualitative research study prepared by methods descriptive pattern for used, were used to collect data as field observations.The obtained data is tried to be evaluated with the support of visual materials. The mentioned cultural heritage seems hard to be protected by government and incapacitated to contribute to the local economy when the economical conditions of our country and the region are taken into consideration. Therefore, training local people, advantageous in many ways, about cultural ecology, teams from various academic fields (Geography, history, archeology, art history, ethnography, social culture, sociology and so on) working in coordination with local authorities and other related institutions and associations, protecting the existing buildings and using them can be put forward as rational solutions. ÖzetMalatya’nın sosyal ve kültürel açıdan geniş bir turizm mirası yelpazesine sahip olan Battalgazi (Eski Malatya) İlçesinde, ulusal inanç turizm kaynakları ayrı bir özellik taşır. Özellikle ilçe merkezinin hemen her mahallesinde, değişik dönemlere ait türbe, ziyaret ve ibadethane gibi kutsal mekânların bir arada bulunması, kültürel peyzaj açısından adeta bir açık hava müzesi oluşturmuştur. Bir kısmı çeşitli sebeplerle hasar gören söz konusu kültürülel miras, geçmişin tanıkları olarak varlıklarını sürdürmekte olup, çok sayıda ziyarete sahne olmaktadır. Malatya ve komşu illerden bilenlerin büyük bir rağbet gösterdiği inaç turizmi kaynaklarını coğrafyanın ilkeleriyle incelemek, tanıtmak, nasıl yararlanıldığı göstermek ve bazı sorunları belirtmek bu çalışmanın temel amaçlarıdır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi ile hazırlanan çalışmada, betimsel desen kullanılmış, veri toplama aracı olarak arazi gözlemlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bilgiler görsel materyallerle desteklenerek değerlendirmeye çalışılmıştır. Söz konusu kültür mirası, ülkemizin ve yörenin ekonomik şartları düşünüldüğünde, devlet eliyle korunması ve yöre ekonomisine katkı sağlayacak duruma getirilmesi zor gözükmektedir. Bu nedenle birçok bakımdan avantajlı olan yöre insanına kültürel ekoloji eğitimi vermek, çeşitli akademik birimlerden (Coğrafya, tarih, arkeoloji, sanat tarihi, etnografya, halk kültürü, sosyoloji…), oluşan ekiplerin yerel yönetimler ile diğer ilgili kurum ve kuruluşların koordineli çalışmasıyla, mevcut yapıtları koruma altına almak ve kullanmak rasyonel çözüm olarak önerilebilir.
