  • 摘要:The aim of this study is to analyze whether knowledge level of astronomy of science teachers varies by the demographic variables. An astronomy knowledge inquiry test was developed to obtain data from teachers. The first part of the test comprises of a personal information form to determine demographic attributes of the teacher and the second part includes multiple-choice questions prepared by the astronomy subjects in the primary education curriculum. Data obtained in the test applied to 100 science teachers were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 statistic package. Results showed that there was a significant difference in terms of knowledge level of science teachers only by types of faculty of graduation.
