  • 摘要:It is beyond doubt that a good curriculum increases productivity of teaching. Thus, the activity including improvement, betterment, and reflection of determined innovations on application of a curriculum belonging to each course is one of studies related to the education. In this research done in the light of these thoughts, physics curriculum of Hong Kong whose students have delivered a much better performance in the field of Science in TIMSS and PISA exams than students in our country was examined and compared with the physics curriculum being applied in our country. The data needed for the research were collected by using “document review method”. Physics curriculums of Turkey and Hong Kong were investigated by considering goal, content, teaching and learning process, and assessment-evaluation factors. The research results show that physics curriculum of Hong Kong is more detailed than physics curriculum in Turkey in terms of handling unit contents, presenting suggested learning and teaching strategies and clarity of assessment-evaluation methods. Particularly, learning strategies that the constructive approach requires in learning and teaching process come into prominence in physics teaching program of Hong Kong.
