摘要：The present paperaimed to investigatechanges in theexpressive behaviorand in the physiologicalactivity during differentappraisalsassociated with a problemsolving situation. To this purpose, while participantscompleted thefive disks version ofthe Tower ofHanoi,electrodermalactivity and facialexpressions wererecorded over thecourse oftheactivity. In order to match expressive, physiological,and behavioral dataand, to test thechanges in both physiologicaland expressive patterns,an individual protocolanalysis wasconducted. As predicted, results showed different patterns ofexpressiveand physiologicalactivity according to theevents ofthe problemsolving. Resultsare discussed in light ofthe goal conducivenessand thecoping potentialappraisals notions.
