摘要:Since the beginning of history, people have made various recommendations to educate the society and future generations, to guide them to the good and the right, and to show them the ways to live happily and peacefully. This process, which is experienced similarly in almost every society and nation, continued with the use of literature in education. In the tradition of Diwan literature, it is more important to say how it is said than what is said, but in terms of how-to-say, which is a kind written out of this understanding, the word itself is much more important than how it is said. Advicebooks were written to teach and educate many different types of people such as sultans, viziers, children and youth as an individual suitable for the goals and ideals of the society. The Quran, hadiths, proverbs, idioms are considered as moral works containing indirect advice. The existence of these works is also an indication of the opinion of advice in every area of society. Advicebooks are the types of that agreement reflected in literature. Many suggestions have been written in Diwan literature with various verse forms as poetry and prose. The verse-penned work named Pend-i Necmeddin, written in Turkish by Mehmed Necmeddin Efendi in the XIX. century is one of the last examples of that tradition.
