  • 摘要:Covid-19 pandemic paved the way for taking several radical decisions all across the world. These decisions and the measures which were subsequently taken affected not only the area of healthcare but also the entire societal order. Both putting the existing order on hold and creating new practices required the undertaking of new efforts in all areas. This study aims to analyze the effects of the pandemic, how the measures taken against the pandemic produced solutions to the problems of the capitalist societal order/organization and which problems these measures addressed in the period which still could be deemed as the early stage. In so doing, by going beyond just focusing on the pandemic and post-pandemic period, the answer is given to questions such as what the fundamental problems of the capital formation system were and what regulations were needed prior to the pandemic. Thus, efforts were made to explore what sort of an effect the pandemic had on the functioning of the system and how the pandemic accelerated the transformation process. One of the fundamental questions, the answer of which was sought, was if the pandemic served as a catalyst which sped up the transformation of the capitalist societal order. To this end, efforts were made to reveal the fundamental problems of the process of capital formation in light of the current stage of internationalization of the capital. The unemployment issue which would arise from the competition and excessive automation in the process of industrial robotisation along with the Fourth Industrial Revolution was examined. Thus, it was ascertained that one of the fundamental problems of the system which would be producing in a less labor-intensive and more capital-intensive mode in the future would be how the sustainability of the economic situation of people without a regular income would be assured. Through multiple sources of data, the dimensions reached by the industrial robotisation race and how many people would lose their jobs due to this robotisation process were demonstrated. On the other hand, it was indicated that this production mode, which required less labor in combination with robotic technologies, the artificial intelligence growing steadily alongside the Fourth Industrial Revolution and ‘Smart Factories’ employing these technologies, would pave the way for decrease not only in unskilled jobs but also in the number of jobs requiring high-level qualifications. In this process in which the conflicts within each class and between classes will grow, certain changes occur also in the international division of labor. With smart factories capable of layered production, the countries getting ahead in the installation of industrial robots will be the new industrialized countries of the world. Employment opportunities for low-skilled labor force will continue to shrink, and the medium-scale job opportunities which increase as excessive automation is introduced to the market will also remain vulnerable. Calling the ‘Welfare State’ again into action and raising the revenues of the state will be in place for ensuring that the societal consensus is reached. In this process, results produced by the pandemic for the capitalist system overlap with transformations required by the system, and act as a catalyst which speed up the process.
