摘要:The aim of this study is to examine the levels of stress and anxiety perceived by individuals with COVİD-19 outbreak according to various variables. For the research, written ethics committee permission was obtained from the Ondokuz Mayıs University Social and Human Sciences Research Ethics Committee on 17.04.2020 with the decision number 2020/163. Descriptıve survey model is used in this research. The participants of the research are 303 people working in various professions in Giresun Province. Perceived Stress Scale, State-Trait Anxiety Scale and personal information form were used as data collection tools. The data of the research were collected trough Google forms. Descriptive statistics were used in the analysis of the data. İndependent variables t-test was used to compare variables with two parameters, and One Way ANOVA test was used to compare variables with more than two parameters. Pearson correlation analysis was used in the relationships between numerical variables. In the coronavirus epidemic process, it was found that 84% of anxiety and 87% of coronavirus epidemic increased hand washing habits. According to the results obtained from the research, it was determined that the level of stress perceived by the participants was moderate. In the research, it was found that there is a positive relationship between perceived stress and state anxiety and trait anxiety. It was determined that the perceived stress and anxiety levels of women were higher than that of men. It was also determined that perceived stress levels of singles were higher than married participants. In the study, it was found that there are significant differences between the individuals' perceived stress and anxiety levels according to age groups and occupations. According to other results obtained from the research, it is recommended to give psycho-education to effectively deal with traumatic situations in order to have a positive effect on the mental state of individuals.
