  • 摘要:In the last days of December 2019, pneumonia cases began to appear in Wuhan, China. Soon after, World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the virus causing the disease as a result of genetic analysis is a new member of the Coronary virus family, the new virus is called SARS-CoV-2 and the disease is COVID-19. Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19) pandemic was declared in the world in March 2020. Social distance, curfews and working from home have been determining life in many countries of the world for weeks. One of the areas most affected by this pandemic, especially health, economy and social life, was the higher education system. During the pandemic days, we are experiencing a period in which online education tools and mass education gained importance in distance education. Due to the pandemic, face-toface trainings have been stopped worldwide and many higher education institutions have made great efforts not to interrupt education in the pandemic process. The aim of this research is to draw up lessons from the past in the fight against the new coronavirus pandemic and to present suggestions for the new normalization process in higher education. The situation analysis method was used in the research. In the current study, it has been examined which training models can be applied as of 2020 fall semester within the framework of past pandemics, current situation and scenarios discussed in the future perspective. In addition, it was tried to shed light on future studies by making suggestions with a holistic approach covering awareness, education and support activities, taking into account the research and social contribution dimensions of the university.
