摘要：A partire dalla recente pubblicazione curata da Paolo Tortonese (Le Cas médical. Entre norme et exception, Garnier 2020), l'intervista si interroga sullo scopo ermeneutico del ‘caso’ inteso quale figura del discorso che si situa tra letteratura e medicina, con un'attenzione particolare per le strutture dialogiche del romanzo ottocentesco. L'intervista prosegue approfondendo le questioni metodologiche, chiamando in causa l'attuale validità degli approcci foucauldiani, contraddistinti da una forte impronta ideologica, e il ruolo potenziale delle scienze letterarie nel panorama delle Digital Humanities.

Entre norme et exception, Garnier 2020), the interview dwells on the hermeneutic scope of the ‘case’, as a figure laying between literature and medicine, with particular focus on the dialogical structure of the nineteenth-century novel. The interview then expands to methodological issues, calling into question the current validity of the Foucauldian approach, marked by a strong ideological drive, and the potential role of literary sciences in the Digital Humanities landscape.
