摘要：Coronavirus pandemic has been threatening most countries in the world. In Italy, there have been thousands of people died and the majority of workforce has been stopped, due to the sanitary restrictions adopted. Even schools have interrupted their standard teaching, passing from face-to-face lessons to distance learning. In a few days, both teachers and students in Italy had to adapt to this new teaching method, which initially created confusion. Then, thanks to the diligence of all school environment, everybody started this new route, in order to work together and reach the same objectives established at the beginning of the school year. Although some initial uncertainty, distance learning during Coronavirus outbreak in Italy has become more doable, thanks to technology and online tools available for teaching, taking lessons, and interact. In fact, especially in secondary schools – that represent the main topic of this paper – most students have welcomed distance learning. That can be regarded as a distraction from the outbreak scenario, a mean that could have help them going back to normalcy. The entire school environment in Italy has been conformed to distance learning, and all the disciplines in the school curriculum have felt the effects of the outbreak. The subject which will be mainly considered in this paper – because of my profession – is Math. It is one of the most beautiful and interesting branches of knowledge, but also one of those that need frontal lessons and human links, in order to involve students and make the subject loved.
