摘要:Students’ attitudes towards mathematics as well as positive and negative dispositions towards it have a key role in student achievement in mathematics. Hence, it is important to determine the ways of influencing the formation of positive attitudes. 290 students from the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th grade of a primary school in Zagreb were participants of this research. It examined how students perceive enthusiasm, support and classroom management, their inclination toward misbehavior and attitudes towards mathematics. The results show that younger students (2nd and 4th grade) have more positive perceptions of teacher enthusiasm, support and classroom management than older students (6th and 8th grade). Besides, students who assess support, enthusiasm and classroom management highly and rarely misbehave have more positive attitudes towards mathematics than students whose perceptions are average or below average.
