摘要：The goal of this study is to examine the Seljuk History Teaching within the framework of the history curriculum,history coursebook,and the opinions of the secondary education history teachers. The survey method was employed in this study. The methods of "document analysis" and "literature review" were used for curricula and textbooks. The interview method,which is a qualitative method,was used to examine teachers' opinions. The interview was carried out through the semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. 12 history teachers who attended the secondary education history lessons in Kahramanmaraş province were interviewed and the interview form was filled. The data obtained from the interview form were analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique. As a result of the research,it was seen that the Seljuk history courses were taught as a subject within the courses of Islamic History,General History,or Ottoman history in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. In the Republican era,Seljuk History subjects were taught together with the history of other Turkish states in the books titled Outline of Turkish History and History II (Middle Ages). Although the emphasis was placed on world history and ancient civilizations in this period,Seljuk history subjects were less frequently mentioned. Today,the Seljuk History Lesson is taught as a unit in the 6th grade of primary school. In secondary education,the history of the Great Seljuk Empire is taught in 9th grade as a unit,and the history of the Anatolian Seljuk Sultanate is taught in 10th grade as a unit. As a result of the study,history teachers stated that the Seljuk history subjects and the course hours allocated for these subjects within the program are insufficient. History teachers further stated that students are less interested in this subject due to the few questions asked in the exams and the lack of written and visual material. In conclusion,it is deemed necessary to examine the Seljuk History,which is one of the most important stages of Turkish-Islamic history,with its broader and original aspects in National Education institutions and universities,to use different methodologies such as local history study,to develop strategies to increase thinking skills of the students,to include field trips and to use interesting materials while teaching the subject.
其他摘要：Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de Selçuklu Tarihi öğretimini tarih dersi programı,tarih dersi kitabı ve orta öğretim tarih öğretmenleri görüşleri çerçevesinde incelemektir. Bu araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Öğretim programları ve ders kitapları konusunda “doküman incelemesi” ve “literatür incelemesi” yöntemlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Öğretmen görüşlerinin incelenmesi konusunda nitel bir yöntem olan görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Görüşme araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu yoluyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kahramanmaraş ilinde ortaöğretim tarih derslerine giren 12 tarih öğretmeni ile görüşülmüş ve görüşme formu doldurulmuştur. Görüşme formundan elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Selçuklu Tarihi konularının: Osmanlı Devleti’nin son devrinde İslam Tarihi, Genel Tarih veya Osmanlı Tarihi derslerinin içinde birer konu olarak ele alındığı görülmüştür. Cumhuriyet devrinde ise Selçuklu Tarih konuları Türk Tarihinin Ana Hatları ve Tarih II (Orta Zamanlar) kitapları içinde diğer Türk devletleri ile birlikte okutulmuştur. Bu devirde Dünya Tarihine ve ilkçağ medeniyetlerine ağırlık verilmesine rağmen Selçuklu Tarihi konularına daha az yer ayrılmıştır. Günümüzde ise Selçuklu Tarihi Dersine ilköğretim 6. sınıfta bir ünite ayrılmıştır. Ortaöğretim de ise 9. sınıfta bir ünitede Büyük Selçuklu Devleti Tarihi,10. sınıfta bir ünitede Türkiye Selçuklu Devleti Tarihi anlatılmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında görüşme yapılan tarih öğretmenleri de Selçuklu tarihi konularının ve bu konular için programda ayrılan ders saatlerinin yetersiz olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Tarih öğretmenleri ayrıca sınavlarda sorulan soruların azlığı ve yazılı ve görsel materyal eksikliği nedeniyle öğrencilerin bu konuya daha az ilgi gösterdiğini belirtmişlerdir. Sonuçta Türk İslam Tarihinin en mühim evrelerinden biri olan Selçuklu Tarihinin Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı okullarda ve üniversitelerde daha geniş ve orijinal yönleri ile ele alınması,konu işlenirken yerel tarih araştırması gibi farklı metodolojilerin kullanılması,öğrencilerin düşünme becerilerini artıracak stratejiler geliştirilmesi,alan gezilerine yer verilmesi ve ilgi çekici materyallerin kullanılması gerekli görülmüştür.
