摘要：The main objective of this work is the analysis of the land cover in the Natura 2000 site – SKUEV0265 SUŤ and its changes during five separate time horizonts in the last 28 years. The analysis uses data from the European Corine land cover program. The data were analyzed in GIS (ESRI ArcMap 10.6) using Spatial Statistics,a tool intended for the calculation of landscape-ecological indexs,also called landscape metrics. For representation of the changes we used chosen landscape metrics,such as Number of patches (NP),Mean patch size (MPS), Patch size standard deviation (PSSD),Mean shape index (MSI). Shannon´s Diversity Index (SHDI) and Shannon´s Evenness Index (SHEI). We observed an increasing trend of agricultural abandonment processes and transformation of forests to Transitional woodland-shrub areas. .
