摘要：The article explores the prospects of the introduction of cloud technologies in higher education, reveals the advantages and disadvantages of using cloud technologies in higher education. It is determined that the relevance of the use of cloud technologies in education is that they not only perform the functions of tools, but also provide qualitatively new learning opportunities, the formation of skills of independent learning activities, contribute to the creation of new forms of learning and education. It is proved that competently built educational process allows to solve the main goal set by the higher school: qualitative preparation in the chosen direction of study for becoming and development of a competitive specialist. The basic direction of introduction of cloud technologies in the educational process of high school is defined qualitative preparation in the chosen direction of study for the formation and development of a competitive specialist in the professional field. The most common ways of working with cloud technologies in educational institutions are identified, such as distance learning, student collaboration on projects and documents. The virtual space of the university, which aims at supporting the distance learning, management and optimization of business processes of higher education, is outlined. The cloud model, which promotes accessibility, is characterized by five basic elements, such as self-service, compatible resource, network access, separate location, flexibility, measured services. It is determined that the use of cloud technologies in the educational process of higher education is an important step, especially in the conditions of limited resources and the constant need for updating both software and technical component of computing laboratories, which provides the possibility of using cloud technologies and will allow to support the computer equipment of higher education facilities at a high modern level with minimal cost. It is emphasized that the only vulnerability of innovation is the complexity of regularly installing broadband Internet access.

Визначено, що актуальність використання хмарних технологій в освіті полягає в тому, що вони не тільки виконують функції інструментарію, а й надають якісно нові можливості навчання, формування навичок самостійної навчальної діяльності, сприяють створенню нових форм навчання й освіти. Доведено, що компетентно побудований освітній процес зумовлює розв’язання головної мети, яку ставить перед собою вища школа: якісної підготовки за обраним напрямом навчання для становлення та розвитку конкурентоспроможного фахівця. Основним напрямом упровадження хмарних технологій в освітній процес вищої школи визначено якісну підготовку за обраним напрямом навчання для становлення та розвитку конкурентоспроможного фахівця за професійною галуззю. Визначено найпоширеніші способи роботи з хмарними технологіями в освітніх установах, зокрема дистанційне навчання, спільна робота студентів над проектами та документами. Окреслено віртуальний простір університету, який націлено на підтримку дистанційного навчання, управління й оптимізацію бізнес-процесів закладу вищої освіти. Схарактеризовано модель хмари, яка сприяє доступності і складається з п'яти основних елементів, а саме: самообслуговування, сумісний ресурс, доступ до мережі, відокремлене розташування, гнучкість, вимірювані сервіси. Визначено, що застосування хмарних технологій в освітньому процесі вищої школи є актуальним кроком, особливо в умовах обмеженості ресурсів і постійної необхідності оновлення як програмного забезпечення, так і технічного складника обчислювальних лабораторій, що забезпечує можливість використання хмарних технологій та підтримування комп'ютерного оснащення закладу вищої освіти на належному сучасному рівні при мінімальних витратах. Наголошено, що єдиним вразливим місцем інновації є трудомісткість регулярного встановлення широкосмугового доступу в мережу Інтернет.
