摘要:Under experimental conditions of variable pH, superoxidase dismutase and catalase activity of Hydrilla verticillata remained stable at pH 7.0 to 8.0 but increased significantly at pH 9.0. Above pH 9.0, activities of both enzymes markedly decreased. Malondialdehyde, a measure of lipid peroxidation, increased linearly with a pH change from 7.0 to 9.5. At pH 9.5, the ultrastructure of H. verticillata chloroplast showed obvious deformity and damage.
