摘要：This Shintô ceremony was held during springtime at the two shrines Ômiwa and Sai, to obtain protection for the people against disease and epidemics. Karl Reitz primarily bases his treatise on the first book of the Engishiki, i.e., on the chapter Shiji saijo （四時祭上）. It is essentially an examination of the various objects offered at the two shrines during the festival. The offerings are divided into four classes: vestments, weapons, food, and vessels.
