OKC industry veteran forms new ad/promotion agency
David PageMark Harsha, an Oklahoma City advertising industry veteran, has formed a new advertising and promotion agency - Harsha Associates.
Harsha is president and CEO of the Oklahoma City agency specializing in retail food, promotions, ad creation and media planning and placement.
Current clients include the 48-store IGA-Superthrift group, Vision Source, Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Fleming Companies, IGA's National Home Town Kids Program, Southern Louisiana University and Tulane University.
Harsha was with Fleming for more than 18 years serving as director of advertising services. In early 2000, he joined Jordan Associates and was named president of New West Group in October 2000. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.
Lin Frieden will be media and promotions director. Frieden was advertising manager at Fleming, a professor at Frances Tuttle and worked for 23 years in the radio industry.
Janet Smith will be creative director. Nancy Hinkle, a former art director at Fleming, will be graphic designer. George Dimitrov, a recent graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, will be advertising coordinator.
