Dr. Raymond K. Cross Jr. has been named director of the University of Maryland Medical Center's newly expanded, comprehensive Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program, a multidisciplinary program that includes a variety of gastrointestinal specialists in medicine, surgery and radiology to treat IBD, a chronic, inflammatory condition of the intestines. Cross is also chief of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Section at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Baltimore.
