Yes, that's Oprah Winfrey. And no, they didn't slap her head onto Ann-Margret's body again. It's the real thing. The talk show queen underwent an awesome makeover for Vogue.

Winfrey told USA Today that she cried like a baby when she saw the phenomenal photos, snapped by Steven Meisel. Her steady, Stedman Graham, said it's the culmination of everything his honey has worked for.

Loose talk

Claire Danes apparently didn't have much fun shooting "Brokedown Palace" in Manila. She is quoted in Premiere magazine as saying the capital of the Philippines "smelled of cockroaches, with rats all over and that there is no sewerage system ..." Leaders of the "ghastly and weird city" are considering a ban on her movies because of the remarks.

Rock and Roll roster

Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel were nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. McCartney, who is already in the hall as a member of the Beatles, and Springsteen were nominated for their solo work.

Larry King has made a baby at 64. After seven trips down the aisle, he will become a father again early next spring - with current wife, Shawn Southwick King, 38.

The path to conception was fraught with peril. King rushed to marry Southwick last September after a heart scare landed him in a Los Angeles hospital. He said his vows in the hospital room; a few days later, he had an angioplasty.

Not so funny

Jim Carrey landed the leading role in an upcoming movie about the late comedian Andy Kaufman. And like Kaufman, Carrey landed in the hospital after ticking off pro wrestler Jerry Lawler.

Carrey and Lawler were between scenes Tuesday when the comedian spit at the wrestler. Lawler then allegedly attacked the comedian.
