Chef Jamie roasted for TV swearing

TV chef Jamie Oliver has been ticked off by a TV watchdog for swearing on his show Jamie's Kitchen.

In one episode of the Channel 4 show, in which an increasingly exasperated Oliver attempts to turn 15 jobless youths into professional standard chefs, he blurts out "Jesus f***ing Christ".

Five viewers complained to the Independent Television Commission and today it ruled the show, broadcast just after the 9pm watershed, breached guidelines because the expression was deeply offensive to Christians. Channel 4 said a warning had been given at the start of the programme.
