Cubans airlifted to Panama - refugees crowding Guantanamo Bay naval base sent to Panamanian camp
The United States is easing the refugee jam at the Guantanamo Bay naval base by airlifting some refugees fleeing Fidel Castro's Cuba (CE 2) to Panama. Panama has agreed to accept for at least six months. These people will be housed in a tent camp that U.S. soldiers have set up.
