FOOTBALL: Wenger has faith in Reyes
NEIL MARTINARSENE WENGER has backed Jose Antonio Reyes to end Arsenal's Spanish hoodoo.
The Gunners travel to Celta Vigo in the Champions League on Tuesday night having not won in six games in Spain under Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal have drawn just one against Barcelona, while suffering defeats against Deportivo la Coruna (twice), Valencia (twice) and Real Mallorca.
But Wenger now has his own Spanish spy after bringing Reyes from Seville and he believes the young starlet will revel in a return to his homeland.
"It will be great for him to play in Spain again," the Arsenal boss said. "He has had some adaptation problems in England, but he knows how to play in Spain.
"He will go over there and feel completely at home. Playing in England is a completely different game, but against Celta Vigo he will be back to what he knows."
