Project differentiation pays off
Adding Project Differentiation to CUNA's Hike-the-Hill program is paying off in more ways than one.
Many leagues have not only visited the nation's capital several times this year, they have brought credit union representatives who have completed their Project Differentiation Statements of Commitment to members.
"Lawmakers truly have been impressed with these Statements of Commitment," reports Carl Parks, CUNA's Senior VP-Governmental Affairs. "We've seen how the statements reinforce the credit union difference in the minds of legislators."
For example, during the Oregon League's visits, Rep. Darlene Hooley (D-Ore.) congratulated CUs on the program and encouraged them to continue developing their statements.
