I was going to recommend the new Jacko movie - and then I thought, why?
Instead let's make our pick of the night a promising Family Fare movie premiere on the Disney Channel at 8.
"Tiger Cruise" stars Hayden Panettiere and Bill Pullman in the story of a girl who's aboard an aircraft carrier commanded by her father when terrorists strike on Sept. 11, 2001. Those events eventually cause her to reassess her feelings about his career.
It's for the whole family. It touches on something important.
And it's not in the least bit sleazy. What's wrong with that? (Repeats at 9:30.)

Cable Cast
"Man in the Mirror," VH1 at 9: Inevitable, I suppose, that there'd be another Michael Jackson project in time for his upcoming trial on child molestation charges. That doesn't mean you have to watch.
This biopic stars Flex Alexander of the UPN sitcom "One on One" as the Gloved One, and almost no one else you've ever heard of.
"Stargate SG-1," Sci Fi at 9: The team's arrival causes a civil war. Whatever happened to the prime directive? Followed at 10 by "Stargate Atlantis."
